Our Services
Our psychologist will offer a range of assessments and interventions. This includes assessments of quality of life, experiences such as hearing voices, cognitive ability, ASD, forensic risk, and personality. Following an assessment a psychological formulation is developed to inform interventions. This can include approaches such as Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and group interventions to develop skill such as mindfulness, social skills, and assertiveness.
The primary aim of our support team is to reconnect patients with the community to develop skills and, most importantly, a meaningful life. This can include developing life skills such as using public transport independently to being able to attend a voluntary role. Our support team have good links with the local voluntary organisations and colleges.
