Introduction
Aberavon Hospital is located on the South Wales coastline with beach views over Swansea Bay. The Hospital is close to Port Talbot town centre with easy access via public transport to the Welsh towns and cities of Neath, Swansea, Bridgend and Cardiff. The Hospital provides spacious gardens and big car park for staff and visitors. Facilities on site include; wood work room, music room, games room, computer room and educational room with computer and books. Rushcliffe Aberavon provides good community links offering patients opportunity to access GP and other health services, to study at colleges, work experience and general social inclusion. Patients are given the opportunity to improve on their independence and to acquire new skills to be reintegrated back into the community. Individual and collaborative timetables are developed with patients and family involvement, with psychological therapies offered to all patients.

Facilities on site include; en-suite bedrooms, wood work room, art room, music room, games room, computer room and educational room with computer and books. Our service philosophy places our patients at the centre of what we do. We believe each person's recovery journey is unique so their care plans are tailored to their individual needs and goals. The patients play an active part in planning and reviewing their recovery.

We put our patients at the heart of everything we do and all clinical, social, occupational and psychological treatment is designed in equal partnership with the individual. Our objective is to enable rehabilitation to be delivered in an environment which is least restrictive and encompassing relational security standards.
