The Care Team
Our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) is made up of Consultant Psychiatrist, Junior Doctor, Psychologist, Assistant Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Registered Mental Health Nurses and Health Care Support Workers. In addition to the wide range of Nurses with vast experience in mental health, learning disability, forensic services and substance misuse the MDT work together delivering high quality care and outcomes which include the following:
- Preparation for successful community living
- Good physical health management and support
- Improved self-esteem and self-worth
- Social inclusion
- Support to stabilise a return to home or a less restrictive environment
- Improvements in mental health
- Effective management of behaviours
- Promoting safety
- Equipping patients with skills and knowledge to manage addictive behaviours
- Reduction of risk
- Community based activities
